HALFEST is a consumer expo for Halal products and services. HALFEST serves as a platform for Halal entrepreneurs specifically from the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises industry to promote their Halal products and services whilst strengthening their trade relations within the retail industry in Malaysia. HALFEST encompasses many trade activities to address the needs of the Halal entrepreneurs in distribution across nationwide as well as activities for the whole family such exciting competitions, product launches and demonstrations.

Absolutely, children of all ages are welcomed at HALFEST. There will be many interesting and exciting activities planned to keep the little ones entertained.

No, entry is free for all. However, visitors will be required to register to enter the expo.

To increase the demand for Halal certified products and services by creating more awareness and educating the public of the benefits of choosing products and services with the halal logo and embracing the halal lifestyle.

To  increase awareness amongst local manufacturers and producers of the importance of Halal certification from Malaysia’s only Halal certification agency while promoting the Islamic values, knowledge and development of the Ummah.

To empower the Halal Industry entrepreneurs while promoting the Halal lifestyle to consumers. Through the participation of Federal Territoties Islamic Religous Council (MAIWP), HALFEST 2019 becomes a One-Stop platform for special programmes to highlight the Halal industry as an inclusive sector in an effort to enhance unity among the races.

To provide a branding and promotion platform for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to position and promote their halal products and services around Malaysia and to mentor the SMEs to expand to international markets.

More than 500 companies are expected to participate in HALFEST 2023 with 540 booths.

HALFEST is open to all companies-small, medium and large enterprises as well as multinationals with Halal certified products and services from JAIN. International companies with Halal certification from their country of origin are also welcomed to join HALFEST .

The sectors featured at HALFEST include Halal certified food & beverages, Halal certified pharmaceuticals, Halal certified cosmetics & personal care, Islamic hospitality and tourism, Islamic investment, banking & takaful, machinery & equipment, Halal certified services, and government entrepreneurial development agencies & associates.

Around 100,000 visitors are expected at HALFEST 2020 as we will promote HALFEST with an integrated Advertising and Promotion (A&P) campaign valued at RM17 million around Malaysia.
