ORGANISED & MANAGED BY
SHAPERS founded and developed the MALAYSIA INTERNATIONAL HALAL SHOWCASE (MIHAS), transforming it into the world’s largest Halal Trade Fair from 2004 to 2016. SHAPERS’ efforts also led to the creation of the HALAL FIESTA MALAYSIA (HALFEST) in 2011, a collaborative platform involving all Ministries and Agencies in Malaysia’s Halal Ecosystem, and the WORLD HALAL SUMMIT (WHS) in 2015. HALFEST provides a dynamic opportunity for rural, small, and medium-sized Halal businesses to prepare for the next growth phase by accessing the Malaysian and ASEAN market. With a proven record of success, SHAPERS offers a gateway of opportunities for all parties to thrive in the Halal market.
SUPPORTED BY
Established in 1997, PPIM was formed by a group of Malaysian Muslim activists pushing for meaningful changes in the Muslim consumer landscape especially in the face of challenges on applying the principles of Halal and Syariah in the country. PPIM also acts as a Consumer Watchdog, constantly standing up for Muslim coinsumers whose rights were infringed by unscrupulous traders.
